<p>The control device according to the invention involves a control column (1) articulated on a support thanks to an articulation (3) with two degrees of freedom and hence with two output shafts (4, 5), a detection assembly comprising position sensors (D1, D2) associated with each of these shafts (4, 5), two electromechanisms (M) acting on the shafts (4, 5) by way of two respective transmission devices (8, 9) in such a way as to oppose the movements of the column (1) by resistive forces conforming to a predetermined law of force. The transmission device (8, 9) comprises an elastic link (T) arranged in series.
<??>The invention makes it possible to considerably increase the safety of control devices and, in particular, those used in aircraft.
