PURPOSE:To easily set specific modes by means of a small number of switches by executing the specific modes, which correspond with the input of switching means operated at the time of initialization after a power source is turned on, in the priority order. CONSTITUTION:A central processor (CPU) 1 supervises the controls of the image forming device, and sequentially performs a series of processes accompanied by image formation. That is, a prescribed volate is always applied to each input port via resistances 5-7; when a level 'L' is attained after switches 2-4 are turned, the CPU 1 detects the input, and controls the controlled targets 8-10 according to the number of the levels 'L'. In this manner specific modes, which correspond with the input of the switches 2-4 operated at the time of initialization after the power source is turned on, are executed in the priority order. Thus, the upper specific modes are defined by the priority order, and the lower specific modes are specified in each upper specific mode; additionally, the number of switches can be reduced. |
