PURPOSE:To produce large potential difference by specifying the composition of a solution in a cell in which an electrode to be an anode is immersed and that of a solution in a cell in which an electrode to be a cathode is immersed. CONSTITUTION:A solution in a cell in which an electrode to be an anode 4 is immersed contains an organic material which absorbs ultraviolet rays or visible rays to excite, then desorbs absorbed energy to return to a normal state and metal ions which absorbs desorbed energy to perform oxidation reaction. A solution in a cell in which an electrode to be a cathode 3 is immersed contains an organic material which absorbs ultraviolet rays or visible rays to excite, then begins cleavage to form free radicals having hydrogen group in the molecule and metal ions which perform reduction reaction by hydrogen ions produced when free radicals having hydrogen group are converted into ketones. Oxidation-reduction reaction is performed in the separated two cells, and positive potential and negative potential are produced in different electrodes. Large potential difference is produced between two electrodes. |
