PURPOSE:To improve the control of exposure by setting an actual ignition time based on a value obtained by subtracting a time necessary for the calculation of the ignition time from the ignition time obtained by the calculation. CONSTITUTION:An entire exposing system is constituted of an exposing device 2 whose ignition time is controlled in synchronism with the zero cross of AC voltage from an AC commercial power source 1 and an exposure controller 3 for controlling the ignition time in the exposing device 2. The zero cross of the AC voltage impressed on an exposing lamp 22 is detected to calculate the ignition time in the exposing lamp 22 in synchronism with the zero cross. Then, the time necessary for the calculation is measured and a difference between the ignition time obtained by the calculation and the time necessary for the calculation is found. Based on the difference, the ignition time of the exposing lamp 22 is controlled. Thus, the accurate control of the exposing lamp is executed. |
