Producing data displayed as a volumetrically reproduced projection image of a specimen object involves detecting object data from vol. of interest voxels of the basis of selected object vol. characteristics. - Voxel positions are transformed into pixel positions in a selected projection planes. A line is directed onto the projection plane at a projection angle corresp. to the view of the object vol. Projection of data values are stored for pixels corresp. to associated voxels and anisotropy is corrected by pixel scaling. |
