A flotation cell (1) is provided with a gasifying means and has a foam overflow (15) as well as an outlet (11) for solid particles not affected by the gasifying. For gasification, a rotation body (3) is arranged in the bottom (2) of the flotation cell (1) and forms with the bottom (2) an annular gap (4) for the inflowing pulp supplied by conduit (5). The rotary shaft (6) of the body (3) acts also to convey gas to the interior of the body, from which it discharges into the annular gap (4) via orifices and passages (10, 9).
