PURPOSE:To manufacture a superconductor of uniform quality, high purity, high critical current density and high critical magnetic field and also prevent contamination of thalium by allowing a required preform to coexist on a base with a material containing predetermined elements, and firing the preform. CONSTITUTION:A preform of an oxide superconductor is applied to the inside of an alumina crucible 3 sealed by an alumina plate 4, and the preform is made to coexist with a material 2 containing thalium and is fired so that a thalium oxide superconductor film of uniform quality, high purity, high critical current density and high critical magnetic field is manufactured without scattering of thalium. Also, the manufacturing device is prevented from being contaminated by thalium which is a deadly poison. |
