PURPOSE:To make the installing work to the terminal of a coaxial cable easier at a good working efficiency by making it possible to connect the processed terminal of the coaxial cable at a time under the condition to assemble a pin contact, an insulating member, and a cylindrical contact. CONSTITUTION:The part of a coaxial cable 10 where the inner side insulating coverage 12 is exposed is positioned on the pressing blades 24 and 25 of a pin contact 21, the exposed part of the outer wire 13 of the cable 10 is positioned on the holding pawls 35 of a cylindrical contact 32, and the part of the cable 10 which is covered by an outside insulating coverage 14 is positioned on the holding pawls 36 of the contact 32. Under such a condition, the part where the coverage 12 is exposed is pushed in to the pressing blades 24 and 25 by the pressing blade 40 of the terminal pressing/ welding device. And, while the part where the wire 13 is exposed is inserted between the holding pawls 35 and 35 by a crimper 41, it is crimped. Furthermore, while the part covered with the coverage 14 is inserted between the holding pawls 36 and 36 by a crimper 42, it is crimped. In this case, the operations of the blade 40, and the crimpers 41 and 42 are carried out simultaneously, and the connecting works of the respective parts are carried out in a single pressing/welding operation. |
