The needles 4 are supported in a retainer 41. The inner race projects axially beyond the outer race and is provided with a radial flange 10 which provides an axial bearing surface. The axial load may be transmitted either by a ball thrust bearing 11, the balls being nested in a retainer 11 or a nylon washer. Snap rings 51 are secured to the inner surface of the outer race, to support the needle retainer 41, and oil seals 52 are secured to opposite ends of the outer race contacting the inner race. |
