PURPOSE:To make it possible to position a heat-exchanger tube inspecting apparatus at the input part of each heat-exchanger tube and to insert the apparatus by providing a turning mechanism, a moving mechanism in the direction of a diameter, a moving mechanism in the axial direction, and inspecting cable feeding mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A turning mechanism comprising a turning motor 56 and the like turns a heat-exchanger tube inspecting sensor 80 which is attached to the tip of an inspecting cable 40 around the central axis of a secondary-helium input nozzle 20. A radially moving mechanism comprising a radially moving motor 78 moves the sensor 80 in the direction of the diameter of the nozzle 20. An axially moving mecha nism comprising an axially moving motor 72 and the like moves the sensor 80 in the axial direction of then nozzle 20. An inspecting cable feeding mechanism 44 feeds the cable 40. The sensor 80 is positioned at any of heat-exchanger tube input parts 22a with the turning mechanism and the radially moving mechanism. Then, the radially moving mechanism is driven, and the sensor 80 is inserted into the heat exchanger input part 22a. The feeding mechanism 44 is driven, and the sensor 80 can be moved in a helical coil heat exchanger tube 18. |
