Filter cake scraper knife assembly suitable for rotary vacuum band filters, consisting of a liquid separating box below the scraper knife over which the filter cake falls after separation from the filter drum by gravity onto a transporting mechanism while the associated filtrate separates into the box passing a narrow horizontal slit or one or more perforations at the base of the filtrate box. The slits and the perforations have a rounded top edge and sharp bottom edge arched inwards into the liquid separating box. |
