摘要 PURPOSE:To allow color development and discharging reversibly by providing a constitution in which a color developed by oxidation is bonded in an area between clay mineral layers due to an ion exchange between the color and quaternary ammonium ions, the color is discharged by reduction from the area between the clay mineral layers and again the quaternary ammonium ions are bonded in the area by an ion exchange. CONSTITUTION:Monmolylonite 10 retaining exchangeable cations 11 in an area between layers is dispersed in a solvent with quarternary ammonium ions 12. If a dispersion system is placed at the cathode end and the solvent is electrolyzed, the quaternary ammonium ions 12 are intercalated in the area between the layers, and at the same time, the area between the layers where the monmolylonite is dispersed expands and decorative clay mineral 10a is obtained. The decorative clay mineral 10a is recovered from the dispersion system, and the clay mineral is dispersed in a new solvent with the addition of a leuco color 13. Then if the dispersion system is electrochemically oxidized at the anode end, the leuco color 13 changes to a development-type color 13a. This color 13a is intercalated into an area between the area between the layers of the decorative clay mineral 10a to replace the quaternary ammonium ions 12. If the dispersion system is electrochemically reduced at the cathode end, the dispersion system has a reversible color development and discharging effect.
