Load cell which comprises a central body with various pivoting zones in which are arranged extensiometer gauges, having, on the sides, holes for fastening to a weighing system, the central body incorporating, between the holes and the gauges, a number of interruptions. This load cell is employed in weighing systems in order to determine the weight of a body by means of the deformation experienced by the extensometer gauges. <IMAGE>
