This invention concerns an electrical network which over an extremely broad frequency range provides output signals with a phase difference between the signals from different output ports which is either 0 degree or 180 degree. In addition the amplitude ratio between the signals from the network, and the network's image impedance is constant as a function of the frequency. This is achieved by the network consisting of two types of two-port networks, with inputs which are connected in series or in parallel. At least one is a first type of crosslink which has coils or at suitable frequencies, in particular microwave frequencies, short-circuited connectors in the non-crossing conductors and condensers, or at suitable frequencies, in particular microwave frequencies, open connectors in the crossing conductors, and at least one is a second type of crosslink in which coils and any corresponding connectors have changed place with condensers and any corresponding connectors. <IMAGE> |
