MANUFACTURE OF ELECTRONIC COMPONENT

PURPOSE:To easily execute various processing operations including an electrical inspection, to simplify an installation therefore and to reduce expenses for labor by a method wherein a support terminal which connects an electronic component during a manufacturing process to a hoop material is installed separately from an electrical connection terminal. CONSTITUTION:The following are formed: a doughnut-shaped central terminal sheet part 1 which has been manufactured by stamping a hoop material 1, which is situated in the center and which is provided with a cylinder of a prescribed height at its inner edge; a member 3 which is connected to the hoop material 1 and which is used as an electrical connection terminal; support terminals 4 which have been extended from the central terminal sheet part 2 and which are connected to the hoop material 1; members 5 which are extended in parallel with each other in a direction opposite to the member 3 and which are connected to the hoop material 1. At the members 5, tip parts are warped upward to be key-shaped, and square top parts whose height is identical to that of the cylinder of the central terminal sheet part 2 are formed. Then, this assembly is molded by using a resin material 6 in such a way that the central terminal sheet part 2 and kep-shaped parts of the members 5 are warped. Then, the members 3, 5 which are extended in directions opposite to the molded resin material 6 are cut off respectively from the hoop material 1; their shapes are reshaped; the members are bent downward and are shaped finally; the members are used as electrical connection terminals.
