PURPOSE:To obtain a stable operation by installing an air suction port toward the wall face of a building, providing a partition plate for partitioning a suction port and an air diffuser between the upper part of the suction port and the wall of the building, and providing a damper for opening the diffuser at the time of operation and closing it at the time of stopping. CONSTITUTION:An outdoor device 4 is installed at an air suction port 42 toward the wall face 9 of a building, and a partition plate 10 is horizontally provided between the upper part of the port 42 and an air diffuser 43. A plurality of the devices 4 are installed at verandas of floors of a multi-storied building. When the devices 4 are operated, diffused air is brought into contact with a louver 12. Accordingly, relation to a balance weight 13 is lost, the louver 12 is rotated, inclined forward to guide the diffused air to the front of the device. When the operation of the device 4 is stopped, a damper 11 is closed. Therefore, ducts of the suction air and the diffused air are completely isolated to prevent a short-circuiting cycle operation. Thus, even if a blower is stopped due to defrosting, the defrosting operation is not disturbed. |
