A windscreen wiper cover, especially for protecting the rubber blade against very high or low temperatures and the effects of dirt and sunlight, consists of a sleeve made from an elongated trapezium made from an opaque synthetic material which is impermeable and resistant to temperature fluctuations. One half (1) of the trapezium's base is folded over and welded, and the whole trapezium is then folded along its lengthwise axis (4) and welded along its longest and shortest edges (6,5). Fitted over the wiper, the cover prevents it from sticking to the windscreen in the event of freezing or excessive heat, and gives protection against other weather conditions. ADVANTAGE - Longer windscreen wiper life.
