Method and device for cleaning a gas, such as air, from organic matter. An adsorbent is used which is regenerated by heating to a temperature at which the organic matter is combusted. The gas to be cleaned, such as air, is passed through a bed 14 comprising a support structure for the adsorbent and a quantity of adsorbent distributed on this support structure. The quantity of adsorbent is adapted to the intended application, and the regeneration of the adsorbent takes place directly with air which is heated to the said regeneration temperature. <IMAGE> |
