<p>PURPOSE:To prove an solAl value true with certainty by removing slag and then forming slag of low oxygen potential prior to Al control at the time of producing a silicon steel sheet containing <=100ppm C and 0.003 to 0.012% solAl by converter and ladle refining processes. CONSTITUTION:After the molten steel in a ladle after tapped from a converter is decarburized in a degassing tank until the prescribed C concentration is reached, the slag in the ladle is removed and nonoxidizing synthetic slag is charged, and then, the fine control of Al is carried out. Since the reaction with the oxygen in the slag is retarded by this method even in a slight-degree deoxidizing state of 0.003 to 0.012% solAl content because the slag in the ladle is formed into nonoxidizing state in all cases, respective concentrations of solAl and C and be controlled and also the providing rate can be improved.</p> |
