PURPOSE:To eliminate a foreign matter on the roll surface of a rolling roll by placing a brush roll which comes into contact with a work roll and backup roll and rotates in reverse and an exhaust duct in the vicinity thereof. CONSTITUTION:A skin pass rolling mill 3 is constituted of a work roll 5 and a backup roll 6, and a foreign matter on both the rolls 5, 6 is eliminated by brush rolls 7, 8. The brush roll 7 and the brush roll 8 are provided on the inlet side as to the work roll 5 and the outlet side as to the backup roll 6, respectively. In order to discharge a foreign matter, a duct 9 including the brush roll 7 is provided, and in its outlet side, a blower 10 including the brush roll 8 is installed, and a foreign matter on both the rolls 5, 6 is discharged to the outside of the system. Accordingly, a flaw caused by a foreign matter of a metallic plate 1 after skin pass rolling is not generated, and the yield can be improved. |
