Method for laying a road surfacing or the like, in which a thin bitumen-based tack layer is deposited on a support, and a hot bituminous coated layer is deposited on the tack layer, the tack layer improving the adhesion of the coated material onto the support. According to the invention, the tack layer is used in the form of capsules comprising a covering made of a material which is solid and stable at ambient temperature and which melts or breaks down at the temperature of using the coated material, in order to release the binder.
