<p>PURPOSE:To correct the instantaneous output of the sensor which is used for the fuel injection device of an internal combustion engine and eliminate response delay by finding a 1st arithmetic value from a value corresponding to a flow rate and finding a 2nd arithmetic value corresponding to the deviation from the 1st arithmetic value when the flow rate varies. CONSTITUTION:A signal processing circuit converts the instantaneous output voltage value obtained from an air flow rate sensor from analog to digital according to a specific time signal and refers to a previously measured voltage- flow rate characteristic to find the instantaneous air flow rate Q. Then data CQmax corresponding to the flow rate Q when the sensor is in a stationary state, namely, thermally balanced is found by referring to a previously set table. Then the 2nd arithmetic value CQ is read out of a RAM. Then a correction coefficient C is found from the arithmetic value CQmax and arithmetic value CQ and the flow rate Q is multiplied by the CQ to calculate a corrected substantial air flow rate Q*. Thus, the instantaneous output of the sensor is corrected to eliminate the response delay.</p> |
