<p>A core yarn (of e.g. polyethylene terephalate, viscose, glass) and an effect yarn (e.g. of polyethylene terephalate, glass, acrylic) pass together pref. through the bore of a bobbin carrying a tying yarn to a false twisting mechanism at the outlet of the bore, the tying yarn being supplied to the bore inlet so that it is fed to the false twisting head substantially parallel with the core and effect yarns. The effect yarn is supplied pref. irregularly and at a greater speed than the core yarn. The mechanism has low inertia, eliminating yarn breakage.</p> |
