An extrusion die head incorporates a coaxial core (18) about which one set of material distribution passages (12) guide material (22) which forms the bulk of the extruded profile and at least two other sets of passages for radial (23,26) and angular (27) distribution of complementary materials of contrasting colours, to provide superficial longitudinal or helical stripes.
