PURPOSE:To improve the precision of the estimated control by varying the set opening degree on the basis of the result of the judgement of the inclination of a road before the estimated control, in the estimated control for opening a throttle to a set opening degree before the throttle opening/closing control on the basis of the car speed deviation. CONSTITUTION:When the aimed car speed is set by turning ON a setting switch 15b during the traveling of a vehicle, if the actual car speed detected by a car speed sensor 18 is over a prescribed value, the constant speed traveling for adjusting the opening degree of a throttle by drive-controlling a servomotor 20 according to the car speed deviation is memorized. Though the estimated control for opening the throttle at a set opening degree which is previously set according to the car speed is performed, the inclination of a road before the estimated control is judged on the basis of the data of the throttle opening degree for the car speed obtained by an automatic transmission, and the above- described set opening degree is varied on the basis of the result of the judgement. Then, the existence of a cancellation signal is judged, and if the cancellation signal does not exist, constant speed traveling is executed. |
