The plant pot includes a fluid storage chamber and watering equipment. The chamber is in the bottom part of the pot, and contains a filling of light expanded-clay aggregate (2). This is covered by a sheet (3) permeable to fluid, separating it from a layer of potting earth (4) above, and supporting the latter. A water-filling pipe (6) extends down-wards from the top into the aggregate. The pipe can extend to the chamber bottom, at which point it is slotted (7). ADVANTAGE - Needs watering only every six to ten days.
