Assembly of at least two superimposed beds 12, 14 that can be retracted into a vertical stand 10 parallel with its rear wall 26, the lower bed 14 being able to pivot at one end about a shaft 16 and the upper bed 12 comprising two lateral arms able to pivot at one of their ends 22 relative to the stand and able to pivot at their other ends 24 relative to the upper bed, the head of this upper bed having guide means 44 which guide it relative to the stand, the assembly being characterised in that the upper and lower beds 12, 14 comprise link means such that the beds retract or open out simultaneously. <IMAGE>
