<??>A steam generator for a reactor with liquid metal coolant comprises an external shell containing an electromagnetic pump which comprises a hollow cylindrical ferrous core 62, 67 with a comb-shaped outer surface and a stator winding 61, 59, which is mounted thereon. A main passage 66 for liquid metal is formed on the side carrying the stator winding and a coolant branch passage 65, 62a is formed vertically in the axis of the ferrous core.
