METHOD FOR IMPARTING ANTISTATICITY AND ANTI-FOGGING PROPERTY TO POLYOLEFIN RESIN

PURPOSE:To impart a polyolefin resin with antistaticity and anti-fogging property by adding an additive composed of a glycerol mixed fatty acid ester and a diethanol amide and having a specific composition to a polyolefin resin. CONSTITUTION:A polyolefin resin is imparted with aging stability and sufficient antistaticity and anti-fogging property by compounding a polyolefin resin with 0.05-2wt.% (based on the polyolefin resin) of a specific additive composed of (A) a glycerol mixed fatty acid ester having a monoester content of >=90wt.% and derived from two or three kinds of 12-22C fatty acids having carbon number difference of <=4 between the acids and (B) a diethanol amide derived from a 12-22C fatty acid, wherein the weight ratio A/D is 8/2 to 5/5 and the carbon number distribution of the fatty acids used in the production of the components A and B is selected to satisfy a specific condition.
