<p>Water is pumped through a heater and a three-position valve from which one channel (6) leads to a coffee mixer, one channel (7) to a nozzle for milk foaming, and one channel (8) to an outflow where surplus steam is vented to a collector. The valve is secured to a flange (10) and has three closely adjacent and relatively movable ceramic discs (11-13). The first disc (11) has a central bore and three distribution holes (15-17) at equal radial distances, and is polished for contact with the second (control) disc (12) without special sealing. The third disc (13) is bedded firmly to the flange (10).</p> |
