The pump housing, expecially for immersion motor pumps, has a pump chamber (9) containing a drivable pump wheel and on the chamber under side an inlet (7) and an outlet union (10). The housing interior is formed by at least one plastics moulding (2) which is surrounded by a shell of corrosion-resistant steel sheet (3) the seams of which are held together at the outlet. ADVANTAGE - Pump housing which is corrosion and wear resistant, has good rigidity, and is simple to manufacture.
