Electromagnetic valve has a seat between inlet and outlet and a seal sealed to the seat without tension by a spring. Parallel to the main seat (32) is an auxiliary seat (35) sealably contacted without tension by an auxiliary seal (36) off an auxiliary spring (37) and of smaller opening section than the main seat. Pref. the auxiliary seal is of lower inertia than the main seal (33), both seals operated by parallel circuited magnet coils (38, 39). USE/ADVANTAGE - IC engines, fuel induction. Low inertis auxiliary valve seat opens faster for precision timing control.
