The matrix distributor for material supplied from sources on conveyor belts to packing machines or similar targets has a separate belt path between each source and target. The belt paths coming in from the sources (1) are combined in to parallel units (2) which are interrupted by swivel belts (3). Transverse conveyors (4) are provided across above and below the units and curved conveyors (5) are movable on the cross conveyors (4) and are connectable with the swivel belts (3) in their swivelled state wherein the cross conveyors are connected to the targets. The conveyor belts (6), swivel belts (3), curved conveyors (5) and cross conveyors (4) can be double belts wherein the curved conveyors are guided between the cross conveyors. USE - Particularly for producing packs of kitchen rolls which are normally packed in pairs.
