METHOD OF PREVENTING MOVEMENT OF TICKS IN HOUSE

PURPOSE:To prevent the propagation of ticks by laying an unwoven fabric in a determined position within a house where the ticks are possible to move, and forming a void between fibers in the unwoven fabric to prevent the free movement of the ticks. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic fiber unwoven fabric 2 is laid entirely under a tatami mat or a carpet or in a closet within a house where ticks move. A void between fibers having a METSUKE of about 40-70g/m<2> and a void of about 0.01-0.15mm through which the ticks of about 0.2mm or more can pass is formed in the unwoven fabric 2. The insect proofing sheet 6 of this unwoven fabric 2 is entirely laid on the floor plate 19 of a closet 17. Further, an anti-mold agent and an insect repellent are applied to the surface of the unwoven fabric. Hence, gas permeability can be maintained to prevent the generation of mold.
