The communication system transmits data from a transmit to a reception platform with the platforms movable w.r.t. each other. It has a transmit aerial on the transmit platform, with several identical lengths of an untight coaxial cable forming circle. The aerial is supplied with signals by drivers. On the reception platform is fitted at least one reception aerial, held at a preset spacing from the transmit aerial. The data from the reception aerials are fed to a receiver. Pref. the adjacent cable ends are overlapping, with the overlaps diametrally opposite. USE/ADVANTAGE - For tunnels, large buildings, etc., with continuous communication connection and reduced wear of mechanical parts.
