A preparation for the treatment of fungal infections in the mouth cavity of users of artificial dentures is in the form of a lacquer comprising an antimycotic agent, a water-insoluble film-former, solvent and optionally a plasticizer. The lacquer when applied to dentures, provides for the extended release of antimycotic agent to the oral mucosa of the denture wearer. |
