A one-piece integrally-formed valve protector for a gas discharge valve of a pressurized gas cylinder is permanently mounted to the cylinder. The valve protector includes side walls which upwardly and outwardly flare from a mounting neck ring having inner threads and a domed top wall extending between and joining the side walls and dimensioned to enclose the valve. The side walls and top wall define front and rear openings to permit access to the valve therethrough. |
