PURPOSE: To enable educating from an infant to an adult by means of various kinds of visible display meeting with auditory identification by permitting position sensing mechanism to transmit a signal when a container is place at one position and generating audible resonse for providing educational information corresponding to visible display at one position. CONSTITUTION: The container 12 with multiple side surfaces forms the external form of a toy and a power source 34 like a storage battery and a microprocessor capable of synthesizing sound and/or voice are inside in the container 12. A position sensor reports which side of the toy is located at the 'upper' position to the microprocessor and the microprocessor responds to visible display at the 'upper' position so as to issue sound. For example, the container is constituted by a 12-surface body and the position sensor is constituted by five lead switches. The five lead switches are combined so as to supply a code to the microprocessor in order to indicate correct sound to be reproduced in accordance with the 'upper' position. Thus, the toy capable of educating from the infant to the adult is obtained. |
