SINGLE-USE SYRINGE FOR INJECTIONS

A single-use syringe for injections comprises a cylindrical casing (1), a piston (5) with a rod (6) mounted inside the casing and an arrangement for securing the needle. The piston (5) with the rod (6) are mechanically disconnected, the end of the rod (6) being provided with an annular protrusion (7) and a washer (8) being mounted on the rod (6) coaxially to it. The diameter of the opening of the washer (8) is smaller than that of the protrusion (7), whereas the external diameter of the washer (8) exceeds the internal diameter of the casing (1) to such an extent as to ensure that the frictional force between the external surface of the washer (8) and the internal surface of the casing (1) exceed the force applied to the washer (8) during the movements of the casing (1), including the movements with an acceleration. The single-use syringe may be used both in any medical establishment and individually.
