Coating device for silk-screen printing - incorporates guide and tipping device for ink trough

Coating device has a holder for the vertical screens and a horizontal coating trough which adjusts off a drive in vertical guides and is moved to and from the screen by a horizontally guided pressure device. The guide is fitted with a tipping device which can tilt the trough on contacting the screen and is powered by a pressure device drive together with the horizontal guide. The drive (60-63) should engage the tipping device (45, 48, 49, 50) in such a way that the force on the guide path is sufficient to move this (43, 44) and the force in the tipping sense is absent or insufficient to overcome the tipping resistance. The drive engaging the tipping device such that when the guide encounters an obstacle (64) with the drive still on, the drive force overcomes the tipping resistance. USE/ADVANTAGE - Silk-screen printing etc. Single drive controls guide and tipping movements for coating trough. The system simplifies layout and reduces initial costs.
