SOUNDPROOF WINDOW GLASS FOR VEHICLE

An acoustic window intended for land transport vehicles is proposed. Its index of acoustic attenuation differs by no more than 5dB from an index increasing by 3dB per octave from 800 to 2000 Hz, and by 1 dB per octave above this range. The examples are doubled-glazed windows or laminated windows in which the intermediate layer has a high attenuation. It is effective with respect to aerodynamic noise.
