<p>Synthetic polypeptides having influenza virus antigenic properties are disclosed. These polypeptides correspond substantially to particular regions in the matrix protein of influenza virus. Salts, derivatives, and conjugates of these polypeptides are disclosed as well as methods for using these materials for diagnostic and medical/veterinary purposes.</p> |
