<p>The invention relates to a mobile and transportable isothermal container which consists, firstly, of a caisson (1) with one or two doors (3). The doors are in the form of a double wall made by rotary moulding a synthetic material, the outer walls (4, 5, 6) each having one or more vertical hollow ribs (7) with an outer part, which is thin and compact, and an inner part, which is thick and expanded with closed cells providing insulation; the inner wall, of the same composition, has horizontal hollow ribs, and the outer and inner ribs are integral with each other at their intersections, such that they four an assembly which cannot go out of shape. The container also includes door seals (13, 14) arranged along a plane which is at an angle of essentially 45 degrees to the outer walls, and hinges (15, 16) the axes of which lie outside the container allowing an opening of 270 degrees. Finally, the container has a lower metal chassis (2) supporting the caisson which may have fixed or rotating casters or legs. Said container is intended for use in the transporting of perishable goods, more particularly, foodstuffs such as vegetables, meat, cooked dishes etc.</p> |
