<p>PURPOSE:To reflect character attribute information added for the vision on an output voice by constituting this word processor so that a voice attribute setting part retrieves an attribute corresponding storage part by an attribute of a character of an input sentence, setting a voice attribute corresponding the character attribute to its part, and sending it together with the input sentence to a voice output part. CONSTITUTION:A voice attribute setting part 7 retrieves an attribute corresponding storage part 8 by an attribute of each character of an input sentence, sets a voice attribute corresponding to the character attribute to its part, and sends it together with the input sentence to a voice output part 9. To put it concretely, a method for sending the sentence to the voice output part 9 by inserting an escape sequence for changing the setting of the voice attribute into a part in which the voice attribute is varied, and a method for always monitoring which part the voice output part 9 is outputting at present after starting a voice output to the voice output part 9, and setting the attribute in a real time at the time of synthesizing the character concerned are considered. In such a way, with respect to a sentence which is being edited by a word processor, a voice attribute can be set by a format which can be utilized easily by a user.</p> |
