Two parallel C-profile rails (1), anchored to a building, provide the location for a mounting plate (2). The four diagonal arms on the cross-shaped plate have their outer ends (2a) attached to the two rails (1) by screw bolts (8). The plate, made of 6 MM thick mild steel has a central location (4) for a load mounting spigot (6). Radial reinforcing ribs and folded edges (3) on the plate arms provide increased ridgidity for the mounting plate.
