The dielectric resonator consists of a pole-like body (40) having a through hole. An electrode having a strong bonding force is provided on the surface of the body and on the inner peripheral surface of the through hole. The surface of the body is mechanically coarsened and then the whole body is chemically etched. The body coarsened in two steps is then fitted to a support pin (110) of a rotary member (100) installed vertically or tilted in a plating solution (26) in order to plate the electrode.
