PURPOSE:To reduce unevenness of illuminance in a lighting equipment provided with a lighting body in one corner of a rectangular module by disposing the longitudinal direction of a lamp housed in the lighting body perpendicular to a diagonal line passing through the corner. CONSTITUTION:A rectangular frame (module) 40 is formed of T bars 1 and the like. A lighting body 11 for housing a lamp 9 is disposed in one corner of the frame 40. The longitudinal direction of the lamp 9 is perpendicular to a diagonal line C passing through the corner. An angle alpha measured with respect to the lamp 9 in the corner A opposed to the lamp 9 is larger than an angle betameasured with respect to the lamp 9 in the other corner B. Accordingly, illuminance in the corner A can be compensated irrespective of a longer distance from the lamp 9, thus reducing unevenness of illuminance. Therefore, deteriora tion of illuminance at a position farthest from the lamp 9 can be limited so that unevenness of illuminance on the whole surface of a ceiling can be reduced. |
