<p>PURPOSE:To stabilize brake torque against a reel base by forming a brake surface of a brake arm into a curved surface protruding to the side of abutting on a braked surface of the reel base. CONSTITUTION:When the reel base 4 is slightly smaller than designed dimensions, a contact point between a brake pad (brake surface) 23 and the braked surface 4c which does not follow the brake arm 21 in its clockwise turn is shifted out. Now, since this surface-contact state is the curved surface, they are kept in an approximately uniform state. Consequently, even when variations exist between the brake surface 23 of the brake arm 21 and the braked surface 4c of the reel base 4, the contact state between the brake surface 23 and the braked surface 4c of the reel base can be made approximately constant.</p> |
