<p>PURPOSE:To hold respective parts watertight by compressing packing fitted to a pressure lid with a clamping nut and packing provided between the holding lid and a vertical lever at the same time. CONSTITUTION:A base plate 1 is fitted in the main body of a water discharge port frame A and the locking piece 2 of the base plate 1 is positioned at the notching part of the water discharge port frame A; and the base plate 1 is lowered below a projection ring B and then rotated slightly to lock the locking piece 2 of the base plate 1 to the reverse surface of the projection ring B. The clamping nut 16 is advanced threadably by being rotated in such a direction that the holding lid 9 is pressed down. The holding lid 9 is pressed down automatically through a collar 15 and O-ring packing 14, so that flat packing 12 on the reverse surface of the holding lid 9 abuts on the flange L of the water discharge port frame A. At this stage, the packing 14 and packing 12 are compressed at the same time and the nut 16 is advanced threadably to compress the packing 14 and packing 12 at the same time. Consequently, the respective parts are held watertightly.</p> |
