ARRANGEABLE CONNECTION TERMINALS FOR PRINTED WIRING BOARD

PURPOSE: To provide a connecting terminal for a printed circuit board which prevent the printed circuit board from being weekend at an unnecessary connecting recessed part by arranging a projection thereof which fits the corresponding fitting recessed part of the printed circuit board, the fitting projection having a part of a narrow cross-section developing in a direction perpendicular to the array direction of the terminals. CONSTITUTION: The width size of a soldered connecting part 7 and a narrow-footed connecting projection 16 of a connecting terminal viewed in an alignment direction of the terminals is equal to or less than the width of a grid of a conductor belt 17 on a printed circuit board 18. Further, since a major cross-section of the narrow-footed connecting projection as well as that of a connecting recessed part 19 in the printed- circuit board which corresponds to the connecting projection are formed in a rectangular shape, the connecting recessed part 19 is placed accurately in-between the conductor belts 17 on the printed circuit board 18 without cutting the conductor belt 17 under appropriate setting of size. The important thing is that the width size of the soldered connecting part and the narrow-footed connecting projection is equal to or less than the width of a grid of the conductor belt 17. When expanding vanes of the connecting projection 16 are inserted into the connecting recessed part 19 in the printed circuit board, these expanding vanes expand promptly.
